Run for the Son

The Run for the Son is the CMA's annual national fund-raising event all around the UK. The money raised is split four ways amongst the CMA itself and three other charities compatible with our own aims.

The money is raised by sponsorship of, as Run for the Son the name implies, began as a sponsored motorcycle ride, participated in by as many of our members as are available on the day.

The precise form of the ride, and indeed activity in general, varies from year to year. The links below show what we have done in the past.

Two crosses taken around Britian, one to the north and one to the south.

Regional circuits of Cathedrals and/or Churches on the same day.
2002Four "Arms" of the Cross
Four separate rides from north, south, east & west converging on Litchfield Cathedral.
2001Round Britain Ride
A cross taken on the back of our bikes around Great Britain and the Isle of Man.
